Jubiläum I

Die erste Stickerei aus dem Heft "Jubiläum" der MWi Stickgalerie ist heute morgen fertig geworden. Endlich. Backstitches auf Leinen sind einfach... unbequem, finde ich. Aber dafür sieht das Bild wunderbar aus mit seinen leuchtenden Farben =)

You can find this beautiful pattern in the "Jubiläum" book published by MWi Stickgalerie in Germany. Backstitches on 32ct linen... I don't like it. But I like the result =)

Momentan arbeite ich an den "Sailing Mice" von Margaret Sherry aus dem CrossStitcher Magazin, Ausgabe Juli 2007. Meine Güte sind die süß, ich will die garnicht verschenken! Irgendwann hängen die auch mal an meiner Wand, da bin ich sicher =) *** I'm working on Margaret Sherry's "Sailing Mice" from the CrossStitcher magazine July 2007. They are so cute ^___^

Ein Geschenk...

... für die beste Freundin =)

Da sie auch ein Rattenrudel hütet, habe ich mich für ein Motiv aus dem Buch "Chats au point de croix" von Marie-Thérèse Saint-Aubin entschieden. Die drei niedlichen Mäuse habe ich auf ein Leinenband gestickt, das ein Ratten-Leckerlie-Glas verziert =) (Momentan gefüllt mit M&Ms, Schoko für die Freundin, Erdnüsse für die Ratten)

She has a bunch of rats, so I thought about a motif from the book "Chats au point de croix" by Marie-Thérèse Saint-Aubin. I've stitched the three cute mice on a cloth-binding and now it decorate a glass for rat goodies. Actually it's filled with M&Ms... chocolate for my friend and peanuts for the rats =)

So, nach langer Zeit tauche ich auch mal wieder aus der Versenkung auf ^^ Leider kam ich um Weihnachten/Neujahr kaum zum Sticken und konnte mich danach auch nicht so wirklich aufraffen. Aber ein bisschen habe ich trotzdem geschafft =) Erst ein "Home Sweet Home" für meine Eltern, die mir leider noch kein Bild haben zukommen lassen. Und dann noch das da...

Dratini pattern by Littlemojo

Für eine Freundin habe ich ein Pokemon-Nadelkissen gestickt und genäht, mit dem Pokemon-Logo auf der einen, und einem Dratini auf der anderen Seite. Es ist wirklich süß geworden, auch wenn ich erst Angst hatte, dass der schwarze Hintergrund zu dunkel dafür ist. Aber so leuchten die Farben viel kräftiger =)

Ich habe teils dunklere, teils andere Farben gewählt als in der Vorlage vorgegeben, und ich habe den Stern anders gestaltet.

I've changed the colours and modified the star.

Und nun... schöne Feiertage euch allen, eine ruhige, friedliche Weihnachtszeit und genießt das Essen =)

So, der Weihnachtsmann ist fertig und verpackt. Allerdings wurde aus der Karte ein Bild mit Rahmen, aber es sieht trotzdem gut aus =)

Phew, Santa is finished and packed. And I changed the christmascard-plan into a picture-with-frame-plan. I hope my parents in law like it ^__^

Freebie by Gazette 94 stitched on Aida 18 ct

Montag lag übrigens nicht nur das fehlende Christmas Red im Briefkasten, sondern auch die anderen 120 Döckchen, die ich bestellt hatte. Und nun sitz' ich hier und wickel die auf Kärtchen, die Hälfte hab ich schon =) Fehlen also nur noch 480 Meter... aber so hab ich über die Feiertage auch was zu tun =)

Monday I not only got my last colour... two weeks ago I've ordered 120 skeins and they arrived on monday, too ^___^ And now I'm winding the colours on my bobbins. I'm half finished, but there are 480 meter to go, yay =)

So sieht es aus...

...wenn einem eine Farbe fehlt. Eigentlich soll das ein netter Weihnachtsmann auf seinem Schlitten sein, wäre da nicht die Farbe 666 [Ha, ha.], die mir noch fehlt. Hoffentlich liegt sie am Montag im Briefkasten, hier im Laden konnte ich sie leider nicht bekommen. Im fertigen Zustand soll aus diesem Freebie mal eine Karte für die Schwiegereltern werden =)

So it looks if there's a lack of one colour, in this case it's DMC 666 =P 
I hope I'll get the last colour on monday, so I can finish Santa in time. With this freebie I'll create a christmas card for my husbands parents.

Biscornu I

Hallö =) Ich habe die letzten Tage genutzt und an meinem ersten Biscornu gearbeitet. Das Muster ist eine Mischung... ein Teil der Kreation stammt aus Sylvias Freebie-Sammlung, die andere Hälfte ist meinem Kopf entsprungen und soll Richtung Blackwork gehen... mal sehen. Diese Stickrichtung fasziniert mich einfach... elegant, simpel, schlicht, aber es sieht sehr, sehr gut aus. Mein liebstes Beispiel ist dieses hier =)

Hello =) In the last few days I was working on my first biscornu and now it's done ^____^ The design is mixture of Sylvias pin cussion and my own ideas. I used blackwork pictures as an inspiration, this is my favourite example =) Blackwork is so fascinating... simple and elegant... but it looks so good =)
